11th Project Implementation Committee (PIC) meeting held

The 11th Project Implementation Committee (PIC) Meeting of Activating Village Courts in Bangladesh Project was held on November 16, 2015, Monday in the Conference Room of Local Government Division at Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by Md. Sirajul Islam, National Project Director (NPD) of AVCB Project and Additional Secretary, LGD.

The meeting discussed about key achievements of the Project during the Phase I from the period between 2009 to 2015, updates on the on-going special evaluation of the current phase by IMED, shortfall of total project budget due to foreign exchange rate fluctuation and revision of AWP 2015, closing down the current phase of the Project. Prior to this, it was reviewed and followed up of the major decisions made in the 10th PIC and the approved the minutes of 10th PIC meeting.

The meeting were attended by Abu Sayeed Chowdhury, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration, Md. Enamul Quader Khan, Joint Secretary, Local Government Division , Md. Abdur Rouf, Deputy Chief, Local Government Division, Syed Nurul Basir, Senior Assistant Secretary, LGD, Muhammad Saniul Kader, Assistant Chief, Planning Commission, Muhammad Salahuddin Khan, Program Analyst, UNDP, Sarder M.
